New line of sustainable products
Texwipe® did extensive research on the performance characteristics of rPET-made polyester compared to virgin polyester material. The rPET materials were processed through Texwipe's manufacturing lines and demonstrated comparable properties as virgin material.
With these results, a new line of sustainable products was born, culminating in the launch of Revolve™.
Revolve™ products contribute to sustainability goals, reducing the amount of post-consumer PET bottles going into landfills as well as reducing the overall demand of new and virgin raw materials.
Revolve™ is, amongst others, our contribution to reducing our carbon footprint.

How Revolve™ is made
Post-consumer PET bottles are collected, sorted and cleaned; metals, labels and other residues are removed.
1. PET bottles are collected
After grounded into flakes, these are sorted by material and color.
2. Bottles are chopped into flakes
The cleaned and grounded flakes are melted and to be turned into rPET chip. Any solid contaminants are separated by a melt filter during this process.
3. Flakes are repolymerized into chip
To spin the rPET it’s extruded through a small hole, elongated and cooled to emerge a new filament which will be spun into REPREVE™ yarn.
4. Chip is melted and made into yarn
The REPREVE™ yarn is knitted and further processed through Texwipe’s manufacturing lines using its patented manufacturing processes, apply further cleaning steps of the wipe material and the fabric is finally converted into wipes then packaged.
5. REPREVE™ Yarn is used and turned into Revolve™ wipes
The journey of a PET bottle to upcycled wipes
Discover in a few simple steps how we turn a used PET bottle into polyester wipes and how Texwipe® has achieved wipe performance and cleanliness that is similar to wipes that are made from virgin materials.

Revolve™ product line
Texwipe® offers a range of sustainable wipes and mop covers for cleanrooms. These products are made using upcycled polyester yarn only. No other types of yarn are added into the fabric. This makes Revolve™ a 100% sustainable product line.
A very obvious difference between a Revolve™ product and product made from virgin PET is the color. The re-polymerization process makes the color a little less bright compared to virgin PET. Texwipe® could have overcome this by introducing other additives to have the color closer match virgin PET. Rather, we chose not to introduce additives as they are potential contaminants which may be detrimental to the cleanroom industry.
Texwipe's expertise in cleanroom consumable products design and manufacturing ensures that products made from rPET have the equivalent performance and contamination characteristics to those made from virgin PET.
Additionally, each product packaging features a bottle-shaped recycling logo indicating the number of PET bottles that went into the careful making of our sustainable wipes. This number tells you in a very precise way how many bottles, you as a user, have saved from potentially being thrown into landfills.
